Elbow joint pain can be caused by tennis elbow Tennis elbow is when the tendons around the elbow become injured or aggravated. Most commonly it is caused by repetitive movements. Putting an ice pack on your sore elbow can help reduce inflammation if it is done within the first 48 hours after the injury occurred, or whenever the pain began. To be most affective, place the ice pack on your elbow for 15-20 minutes every 2-3 hours. Using heat on the sore area can also can relax the muscles and tendons around the elbow so that everything can get back into place.
Taking an anti-inflammatory is also a good option. Choose a natural anti-inflammatory like Celadrin that will help your elbow heal in a timely manner.
